-Forensic Building Analysis
This is where I excel; what caused the failure and how is it best corrected?
-Thermal Imaging
See what the other inspectors are missing. If your Building Analyst does not use a thermal imaging camera you could be paying for what he/ she has missed.
-Moisture/ Mold Testing
Don't even consider someone that isn't Certified and Insured for this... your family's health isn't worth it.
Ask your investigator what his certification is and what his insurance limits are. If you are advised that mold exposure is 'hocus pocus' please take a few moments to educate yourself and look at what the EPA has to say http://www.epa.gov/mold/.
-Radon Testing
The EPA and CDC list Radon exposure as the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer. If 'your inspector' is not using a continuous electronic monitoring system call the next provider on your list. Ask me about the difference.

-Fire Safety Inspection

- -I am Certified by the National Institute of Fire Safety and Training (NIFAST) to perform a fire safety inspections. Let us help keep you safe.
- -The Fire industry estimates suggest that residential fire deaths could be reduced by 69% if every residence had a working smoke detector.
- -In 2007 2,895 people died in residential fires, 14,000 were injured, and property damage / loss was $7,546,000,000.00
- -While 96% of all homes have smoke detectors, a 2001 - 2004 study found that detectors were present in only 60% of residences where lives were lost in a fire. When detectors were present in fatal fires, only 39% of them worked properly. This means that operational smoke detectors were present in only 23 % of fatal fires.
- -Investigators believe that the percentage is non-operational smoke detectors is actually higher, but many detectors are completely destroyed in fires making it impossible to determine if they worked or not.

I am fully insured for all the services that I am offering.
Ask for your Inspectors/ Project Administrators insurance certificate... be sure you know what you are covered for... if the Certificate doesn't list the service that you are buying chances are they are not covered.
I carry 1 million dollars in Errors and Omission insurance.
